Designer Michelle Lai established the MISCHA label in 2004 as an expression of her aesthetic aspirations and passion for vintage finds. Using reclaimed vintage Japanese obi and kimono to create luxe handmade clutches. The Travel Series, a collection of globetrotter inspired totes and travel accessories, featuring the MISCHA signature print was launched in 2010. Becoming the brand's iconic mark, the print was created using interlocking hexagons, a stylized representation of the sea tortoise's shell, symbolizing longevity. MISCHA aspires to create pieces that transcend time and season, complimenting a woman's sense of personal style and modern lifestyle.
