Womens workboots presented a problem in the 1920s: they were stiff, uncomfortable and not well constructed. Amelia Earhart turned to riding and outdoor footwear for her requirements. She would most often wear riding boots for flying but also mens style brogues and brogue boots that were bench-made in England.

Following that legacy, the Brogue Shoes from H.R. feature calf suede with leather lining, goodyear welted oak midsoles, and are equipped with lightweight micro soles. Shown here in navy colour.
